Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks dedicated staff to support children in Early Intervention and Preschool programs. You will provide individualized lessons targeting IFSP/IEP goals, develop multi-sensory activities, and report progress on goals to the supervisory team.

The position demands strong communication, collaboration with professionals, and a proactive, organized approach to manage a dynamic caseload in Nassau County, NY.

Qualifications

• Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple professionals.
• Flexible, self-starter with strong time management.
• NYS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Early Intervention or Preschool students to deliver individualized lessons aligned to IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons and report progress toward IFSP/IEP goals.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report quarterly progress.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.

• Preschool services will follow the school calendar
• Compensation:
• EI Compensation: $64-$75/ hour

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

Responsibilities:

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
