Job summary

Shelton Public Schools seeks a SPECIAL EDUCATION TUTOR for Shelton Intermediate School in Shelton, CT. This position is up to 29.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at $22.00 per hour, plus a $250 monthly stipend from September through June (pro-rated).

The tutor will collaborate with classroom teachers, monitor progress, and support individualized instruction to help students access curriculum and achieve goals. Duties are described in the attached job description.

The Shelton Public School system has a vacancy for a SPECIAL EDUCATION TUTOR

Location: SHELTON INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

Special Education Tutors must hold an Associate's degree and have prior experience in an educational setting (Certification Preferred).

Assignment and Hours: Up to 29.5 hours per week Monday - Friday

Duties: Per attached job description

Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour

Plus $250/monthly stipend - September through June (Pro-rated based on start date, attendance and number of days worked per month.)
