Prep Academy Tutors in Philadelphia seeks a seasoned French tutor to join our private in-home and online program. You will deliver engaging French instruction across grade levels and tailor lessons to each student’s needs.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree and relevant teaching credentials or current study in education. Experience with state curricula and strong communication with parents are valued. Flexible hours and supportive environment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least one criterion must be met.
• PA State teaching certificate or the equivalent is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.
• Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College.
• Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are currently hiring for all subject areas — with an immediate need for an experienced French tutor. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a passion for teaching students at various grade levels.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor's degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid Pennsylvania State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher
