You will receive dedicated support, ongoing mentorship, and collaboration with SLPs, OTs, PTs, school psychologists, and district teams. Boothby emphasizes educator well‑being, professional development, and timely access to resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Valid Maine Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience in school-based special education settings preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
