Boothby Therapy Services, LLC is actively hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher in Auburn, Maine for the 2026–2027 school year to serve students in grades 7 and 8. We tailor placements based on experience, preferred age group, and geographic preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Special Education is required.
• Maine Special Education certification or eligibility is required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience in school-based special education settings preferred.
• New graduates and experienced educators encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
