This contract, full-time role runs 8:30am - 3:30pm and requires accountability for aligning with the organization’s mission and goals. Requirements include: Master’s Degree in Special Education with NYS Teaching Certification, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with graduate coursework and NYS Provisional Certification or

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Teaching Certification or provisional/certificate of qualification as specified.
• Ability to safely assist students with mobility and positioning as required.

This is a contract, full time position.This is a contract position.8:30am - 3:30pm schedule.This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.Requirements include:Master’s Degree in Special Education with appropriate NYS Teaching Certification, or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field, with graduate level coursework in Special Education with NYS Provisional Certification or Certificate of Qualification.Have the ability to push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot and grasp with both hands (in order to properly and safely perform the techniques taught in CPR/First Aid, behavior intervention techniques, and lifting a carrying techniques), with or without a reasonable accommodationAbout Centra:Centra Healthcare`s mission is to provide unparalleled service enabling professionals to concentrate on caring for America.
