The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher (SPED Teacher) to join our full-time school-based team in Upland, PA. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs and helping them achieve academic and personal success.

You will collaborate with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to design individualized learning that fosters growth, confidence, and achievement in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching license.
• PA Clearances.
• Knowledge of SPED laws, regs, best practices.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organization.
• Ability to collaborate with families, educators, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs and goals.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with various disabilities.
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies for achievement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal SPED requirements.
