Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths, learning styles, and needs
• Deliver direct instruction in both resource rooms and inclusive classroom settings, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all learners
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to facilitate student achievement and inclusion
• Maintain regular, constructive communication with families, providing progress updates and involving them in the educational process
• Monitor student progress by collecting and analyzing data, using results to adjust instructional strategies and interventions as necessary
• Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and district policies, including compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student records, IEPs, progress reports, and communication logs
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school meetings as required
