Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our full-time, school-based team in Mt. Morris, MI. You will support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs and help them achieve academic and personal success.

You will collaborate with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized learning experiences that foster growth and confidence in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Valid Michigan SPED teaching license required.
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs and goals.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse disabilities.
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies for achievement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.

Key Responsibilities
