The Stepping Stones Group in Dobson, NC is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher (SPED Teacher) to join our part-time school-based team. You will support students with diverse needs and help them achieve academic and personal success in an inclusive setting.

You will collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized learning experiences and ensure compliance with SPED requirements while providing engaging, evidence-based instruction.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid North Carolina SPED teaching license.
• Must have EC certification.
• Knowledge of SPED laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field


• Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license


• Must have EC certification

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs and goals


• Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities


• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support academic achievement


• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student success


• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress


• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and educational goals


• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment


• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to meet diverse student needs


• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
