Job summary

Qualifications

Must possess Virginia Collegiate Professional License or Postgraduate Professional License with endorsement in Special Education.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; maintain relationships with students, staff, families and the community.

Responsibilities

Plans and coordinates programs to manage caseload and scheduling.
Maintains and update IEPs annually and prepares related reports.
Co-teaches with general education teachers and adapts lessons to meet student needs.
Conducts assessments and uses data to inform instruction and referrals.
Communicates with parents and collaborates with school staff and administrators.
