Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Moderate/Severe needs in the Greater Sacramento region (Fair Oaks, CA). You will implement IEP goals with students, support core curriculum with appropriate accommodations, and collaborate with district staff to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have BE/BA in Education or related field and DOE certification or eligibility.
• Ability to implement IEP goals with individualized instruction.
• Experience collaborating with district staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals through small group and individualized instruction.
• Support general education curriculum with accommodations/modifications.
• Assist with classroom behavior management using PBIS strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Maintain documentation and support IEP compliance.
• Track and report student progress toward goals.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
• Support students with assistive technology and communication tools as needed.
