Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and provide relevant learning experiences.
• Facilitate higher-level thinking using current research-based instruction.
• Plan using State and local standards to address differentiated student needs.
• Analyze student data to inform planning and instruction.
• Ensure full implementation of IEPs, including accommodations and BIP where needed.
• Develop, monitor and review IEPs for caseload students annually or as needed.
• Promote student learning with research-based strategies and technology.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other staff to support student progress.
• Communicate instructional goals and progress to parents/guardians timely.
• Follow district policies and maintain professional ethics.
