Aya Education in Lancaster (SC) seeks a Special Education Teacher to design and implement IEPs for students with diverse needs. The role partners with general educators, families, and staff to foster inclusive learning and monitor progress throughout the school year.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or higher, a state Special Education Endorsement, and experience with IEPs. Travel or local placement options may be available with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Must hold active state teaching certification with Special Education Endorsement issued by DOE.
• Must have experience with IEPs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant educational policies and legal requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities to enhance instructional effectiveness.
