Job summary
The Valley View Public School District is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will work with the Building Principal and school staff to develop and implement specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP, and create a learning environment conducive to success for learners with disabilities.

Qualifications
- Current Illinois PEL licensure with Special Education Endorsement (PK-Age 21).
- Excellent communication with students, teachers and parents.
- Knowledge of current teaching techniques for students with disabilities.
- Ability to write and implement IEPs.
- Ability to work cooperatively with support personnel daily.
- Satisfactory special education teaching experience.
