Hyde Leadership Charter School seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with IEP goals. You will collaborate with specialists, teachers, and aides to differentiate instructions, share data, and communicate with families about progress and goals.

Responsibilities include planning, documenting IEPs, and participating in CSE processes. NYS certification is required; a Master’s is preferred. Three to five years of urban classroom experience is desirable.

Formación

• Attend the annual Hyde 101 Training.
• New York State Certification required.
• Three to five years of classroom experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create and revise IEP goals and maintain updated IEP documentation.
• Coordinate with team teachers on lesson plans to meet IEP goals.
• Provide families with progress reports monthly and quarterly reports.
• Communicate progress to families via phone or in person with logs.
• Participate in CSE processes and ensure updates are recorded.
• Provide push-in/push-out support for students with IEPs.
• Attend weekly grade-level planning meetings with team and admins.
• Meet all test and data reporting deadlines.
