Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in special education required, master’s degree preferred.
Must possess or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate in Special Education.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Create lesson plans based on student IEP goals.
Carry out behavioral strategies including crisis intervention.
Administer appropriate state assessments.
