Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction for students aged 5–21 with autism and emotional and behavioral challenges. You will develop IEPs, create structured routines, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes ongoing assessment, progress tracking, and reporting, while supporting social-emotional growth and maintaining a safe learning environment. PA SPED certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
