Special Education Teacher - Middle School

We are currently searching for full-time Special Education Teachers to work at our Middle school (Grades 5 through 8).

This is a 10-month position beginning mid-August; work hours are from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications for the position include:

• PDE Special Education Teaching Certificate required
• A bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution required
• Previous experience teaching in a K-8 setting is highly desired
• A flexible personality that demonstrates enthusiasm, celebrates success, and responds positively to adversity
• An interpersonal skillset that fosters positive communication with students, staff, administration, and parents
• A strong work ethic and an excellent attendance record

2 - Copy of your DPW Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

3 - Copy of your FBI Clearance Fingerprinting with the UEID # (Act 114)

4 - Completion of a Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)
