Responsibilities include planning individualized study, creating supportive classroom environments, guiding instruction toward goals, assessing progress, and coordinating with specialists and families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
• State of NH Certification in Special Education (1900) or other approved status.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
• Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals with clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
• Employ instructional methods and materials aligned to objectives and assess progress regularly.
• Diagnose learning disabilities and make referrals for additional support.
