Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Nassau, NY to support children with special needs across homes, clinics, and community settings. The role focuses on implementing individualized education programs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Starting wage is $52.00-$58.00 per hour with a flexible schedule, training on our paperless billing and data system, and strong supervision from clinical staff. Opportunities include ongoing education and benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the listed NYS certifications/licenses.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to assigned cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children from birth to 21 years.
• Educate families on intervention strategies to enable carry-over.
• Work across homes, daycare centers, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow therapy plans and document progress.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain confidential records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and state/federal regulations for timing and reporting.
