Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Passaic and surrounding counties in NJ for the 26-27 school year. The role runs Monday through Friday until the end of the school year with a contract arrangement.

Qualified candidates will hold NJDOE teaching certification and be able to pass fingerprinting; COVID vaccination or weekly testing may be required. Compensation ranges from $47 to $60 per hour, with opportunities to grow professionally within a large referral

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
NJDOE Teaching Certification required.
NJ Department of Education Fingerprints required.
Ability to comply with written and oral instructions.
Ability to create efficient working relationships with staff.
Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills.
Covid vaccination or weekly testing may be required.

Responsibilities

Plan, teach, and evaluate instruction for students with reading or writing difficulties.
Work with students in small groups and in classroom settings.
Meet and instruct students at designated times and locations.
Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills to enhance learning.
Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
Perform other related duties as assigned by administrator.
