Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. You will develop IEPs, adapt instruction, and create an inclusive learning environment to help students achieve academic and developmental goals.

The role requires collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and administrators, maintaining records, assessing progress, and participating in IEP meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education, as required by the state.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop individualized teaching strategies and collaborate with others.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on students individual needs and abilities.
• Plan and deliver lessons using specialized teaching methods and instructional materials.
• Assess students academic progress, learning needs, and developmental milestones.
• Modify curriculum, classroom activities, and assessments to accommodate different learning abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, school administrators, and other support professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and educational plans.
• Support students in developing communication, social, behavioral, and independent living skills, as appropriate.
• Establish a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow applicable special education laws, school policies, and student confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.
