Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Texas to empower students and collaborate with ARD teams. You’ll develop IEPs, provide differentiated instruction in inclusive and resource settings, and monitor progress to ensure student growth.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Special Education, Texas EC-12 certification, IDEA/ARD knowledge, and CPR may be preferred. Competitive pay starts at $48/hour with flexible full-time/part-time/as-needed roles.

Your Role:

As aSpecial Education Teacher,you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs and helping them achieve their educational goals. Your responsibilities will include:

Develop Individualized Plans:Collaborate with the ARD committee to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.

Deliver Specialized Instruction:Provide differentiated instruction in various settings, including inclusion classrooms and resource rooms, to meet students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs.

Monitor Progress:Collect and analyze data to track student progress, ensuring that instructional strategies and interventions are effective in meeting IEP goals.

Collaborate with Teams:Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support students’ success. Actively participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Promote Positive Behavior:Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies that foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Support Students’ Growth:Address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs through individualized support, accommodations, and modifications.
