Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field is required.
Valid Maine Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in school-based special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
Develop, implement, and manage IEPs.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
