Responsibilities

• Assists teachers to achieve instructional objectives and supports students with personal care and mobility.
• Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce material introduced by the teacher.
• Provides classroom support during absences and assists with routine activities such as breakfast and lunch.
• Escorts students to classes and therapy sessions; assists with behavior and classroom management.
• Participates in inservice training and other duties as assigned.
