Responsibilities

  • Adapt classroom activities and materials under the direction of the teacher to support objectives.
  • Assist in implementing instructional programs and provide instruction in individual and group settings.
  • Participate in IEP goals and behavioral plans as part of the IEP team.
  • Maintain data collection and documentation of activities and assistance provided to students.
  • Attend meetings, professional development, medical and behavioral trainings.
  • Assist with personal care tasks and mobility needs as needed per IEP plans.
