Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for Wilder Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This .5 FTE/part-time position is to be filled immediately and will continue at Wilder Elementary.

The elementary special education program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend varying amounts of time within a special education setting, with pull-out services, push-in supports, or co-teaching with general education

Qualifications

• Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience delivering elementary special education supports.
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and behavioral supports to elementary students in special education.
• Deliver pull-out services, push-in supports, or co-teaching with general education teachers.
• Maintain compliance with LWSD policies and IEP requirements.

Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for a position in an elementary special education setting for the 2026-2027 school year.

This position is for .5 FTE/part-time special education teacher, to be filled immediately for the 2026-2027 school year and continuing at Wilder Elementary.

The elementary special education program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend various amounts of time within a special education setting per their needs. Teachers may provide pull-out services, push-in supports or co-teach with general education teachers.

Qualifications:

Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Salary:

Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
