Canandaigua City School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 5th grade at the elementary school. The position is probationary and supports a class size of 15 students with a 15:1 ratio.

The candidate must hold New York State Certification in Special Education/Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6) and demonstrate experience in elementary settings. Starting November 3, 2026, the district offers a benefits package including health/dental insurance and NYS retirement.

Qualifications

• New York State Certification required for Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6.
• Probationary appointment at the elementary level.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.

Responsabilités
