Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction, supporting both learning and social-emotional growth.

You will develop IEPs, deliver engaging instruction with diverse methods, manage behavior, and document progress while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help students ages 5–21 succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
