Job description

The right Special Education Teacher will combine ADDIE Model and Socratic Method to solve real problems for the people we serve. This CA role reads like an upgrade — $83,000 - $119,000, internship hours, 4 years valued, and a path that does not dead-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Trim ADDIE Model processes that have quietly outlived their purpose
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Excellence Consulting to hit shared goals
• Communicate progress, blockers, and results to stakeholders and leadership
• Absorb 3 of context fast and start contributing sooner
• Step in on additional duties that support the wider Excellence Consulting mission
• Notice the mission-soaked gap between the spec and the shipped thing
• Read an Asynchronous Learning system you didn't build and improve it anyway
• Move general decisions forward when consensus stalls

What You'll Bring

• A portfolio that speaks louder than any line on your resume
• Mid-level mastery of Asynchronous Learning, validated by people who'd hire you again
• Adaptability and resilience when facing shifting requirements
• A point of view on Excellence Consulting's space, sharpened by your own reading
• Fluency in Stress Management earned the hard way, not just from a tutorial
• Comfort owning general decisions in a CA market
• Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel

At its core, Excellence Consulting is a high-energy bet that Salinas, CA can out-build anyone when it comes to Moodle. We default to documenting decisions so CA and remote teammates stay equally in the loop.

We reward your Socratic Method with $83,000 - $119,000, surround it with mentorship and benefits, and let your schedule flex around Salinas.
