• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Promote emotional and social growth for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Plan and implement a program of study that meets individual needs, abilities, and interests.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the student.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate them to students.
• Align instruction with the district's philosophy and instructional materials.
