Every Special Child LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Philadelphia team for the 2026-27 school year. This role focuses on educating K-12 students, developing IEPs, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student progress.

The position requires valid Pennsylvania certification (Instructional I or II), 1+ year of SPED teaching experience, and a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Valid Instructional I or Instructional II Special Education Certification for the state of Pennsylvania.
• 1+ years of work experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach groups of students.
• Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans.
• Discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
• Adapt learning materials to students’ needs; ability to create IEPs.
• Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress.
• Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed.
• Prepare students for the transition to the next grade.
• Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities.
• Collaborate with the support staff.
• All other duties related to the program.

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Age Group: K-12
• Credential Required: Instructional I or Instruction II Special Education Teacher Pk-12
• Start date: ASAP
• End Date: June 2027
