Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract—full-time position in Oro Grande, CA. The role supports students K through 12, working under the Special Education Program Administrator to plan and implement programs, including instruction, tutoring, and collaboration with general education staff.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's Degree and a state teaching certificate; LBS1 endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• CPR and health-related certifications may be required per contract or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students, K–12.
• Collaborate with general education staff to plan and implement student programs.
• Participate in team planning for instruction, tutorials, and consultations.
