Job summary

Novo Staffing is seeking a passionate life skills teacher for a full-time role around Odessa and Midland, TX, for the 26-27 school year. You will work primarily with students with autism and emotional disabilities, providing tailored learning activities to help them achieve their potential.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate life skills teacher for a full-time position around the Odessa and Midland, TX area for the 26-27 school year. You will be working with our special population students primarily focused on autism (ASD) or other emotional disabilities. Provide special education students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth; develop or modify curriculum and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels; provide direct services to students with an autism spectrum across a variety of settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Teaching License with Special Education Teaching Endorsement and Generalist License
• At least 1 year of teaching experience
