Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction for students with autism and related challenges.

You will create a structured classroom that supports learning and social-emotional growth, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and PA Special Education teaching certification.
  • Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to lead within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans that meet each student’s needs.
  • Deliver engaging instruction using varied teaching methods.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Track progress and prepare required documentation and reports.
  • Lead and support classroom staff to ensure consistent implementation of student plans.

What You’ll Need
