Job summary

Spindle is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community, serving students in a resource teaching role near Half Moon Bay. This full-time contract role runs now through June 4th, 2027, with one position open for the right educator.

• Comfort collaborating closely with families, general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to build and carry out IEPs

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and delivering instruction tailored to each student's IEP
• Collaborating with teachers, specialists, therapists, and support staff
• Tracking student progress and keeping documentation accurate and compliant
• Facilitating IEP meetings in partnership with parents and school staff
• Adapting curriculum and materials to meet the diverse social and academic needs of different learners
