Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Special Education Teacher for a contract-full-time role in McDonough, GA. You will support K–12 students, collaborating with general education staff to plan and implement individualized programs and provide instruction, tutoring and consultation as needed.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and a state teaching certificate; LBS1 endorsement is preferred. CPR/health screening may be required. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• One year teaching experience preferred.
• State Teacher Certification types: Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching preferred.

• CPR certification and health screening as required.
