Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher role based in Houston, TX. The Special Education Teacher will implement individualized education plans (IEPs), adapt curriculum for students with diverse learning needs, and deliver instruction in both small-group and one-on-one settings. Responsibilities include ongoing assessment of student progress, collaboration with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff, and regular communication with families and caregivers. The teacher will maintain accurate documentation, support behavior management plans, and integrate appropriate accommodations and modifications into online and in-person learning activities. The role also involves contributing to school-wide initiatives that foster inclusion, social-emotional growth, and academic success for students with exceptionalities.
