Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for Greenville, SC. The role involves delivering high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs and collaborating with families and professionals to support growth.

Qualified candidates will hold a SC teaching certificate with a special education endorsement and preferably a Master’s degree in Special Education. The position runs Monday–Friday, with school hours from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, on-site at the school site.

• Valid SC Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement.
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
• Experience with ASD, intellectual disabilities, and emotional dysregulation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality special education services to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with students, families, and other professionals to support instruction.
• Deliver instruction aligned to individual education program (IEP) goals.
• Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. You will work collaboratively with students, families, and other professionals to provide high-quality educational services to students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification with special education endorsement.
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field (preferred).
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and emotional dysregulation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.

Certification & Requirements

• Certification: SC Special Education – Multi-categorical preferred; Learning Disabilities (LD) also acceptable
• Requirements:
  • Valid SC Teaching Certificate (bachelor’s degree plus teacher preparation program with student teaching)
  • Special Education endorsement/certification for LD or multi-categorical
  • Background check and fingerprinting
