Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction for students ages 5–21 with autism and related developmental challenges. You will create a structured classroom that supports learning and social‑emotional growth.

You will develop IEPs, employ differentiated instruction, manage behavior, document progress, and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation of student plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
