Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services in Farmington, ME, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role is designed to fit your experience, interests, and lifestyle.

You will receive dedicated support from a Service Delivery Manager, ongoing mentorship, and collaboration with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and district teams across New England. Competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (required).
• Valid Maine Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience in school-based special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions to support students' growth.
