Job summary

Sittercity is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a family with special needs in Illinois. The role involves assisting morning routines, transporting a daughter to a day program, and providing light housekeeping. Experience with autism and diabetic care is valued.

Two clients may be involved: a 24-year-old daughter and a younger child in Bolingbrook; flexibility and reliability are essential for daytime coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care for individuals with autism or special needs.
• Ability to transport clients to and from day programs or appointments.
• Basic housekeeping tasks and daily living support for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist morning routines for my daughter and provide transportation to her day program.
• Provide light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Offer T1D care expertise and monitor health during the day.
• Stay with and supervise the clients until caregiver returns home.
