Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Eaton, CO. You’ll develop IEPs, provide individualized instruction, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Fingerprinting through OSPIS completed.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning.
