Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Special Education Teacher to join our school-based team. You will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with staff, and support students across K-12 in a bright, supportive setting.

Responsabilités

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Communicate with staff and families about progress and struggles.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in each student's progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Confer with on-site therapists regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment.

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each of the students in your care
• Communicate with other staff and family members about each student's progress and struggles
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them to administrators for approval
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to keep each student on the path toward greatness
• Invite family members to participate in each student's educational progress
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly
• Confer with on-site therapist over disciplinary and behavioral issues with students
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment
