Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Charleston, SC. You’ll provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed.

You’ll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team, with competitive pay up to $57/hour and a stable school-year schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina state teaching license in Special Education.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation.
