Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to students under supervision of a certified teacher.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and students.
• Assist in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandates.
• Establish a structured learning environment and support positive student behavior.
• Document student progress and share information with classroom teachers.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
• Assist in maintaining classroom resources and inventory.
