South Newton Jr-Sr High School is seeking a Substitute Teacher to support middle and high school students in a dynamic inclusive environment. Qualifications

• Ability to work with students, staff, and the school community.
• Ability to speak grammatically correct English.
• Substitute Teachers Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and instructs based on the Indiana State Standards and local curriculum.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for individualized and small group instruction.
• Communicates regularly with parents by means of a newsletter, notes, phone calls, and conferences.
• Supervise students on buses and in classrooms as needed.
