Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under the supervision of the special education department, teacher, or supervising designee.
• Provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs when established by a health professional.
• Support school staff to implement individualized education plans and behavior plans.
