Intermountain Health in Denver, CO seeks a Special Education Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of SPED teachers serving children with complex needs. You will coach educators, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure IEPs and curriculum meet state standards.

Join our Education Leadership Team to drive effective educational programming and transition planning for patients in day treatment, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Current Colorado teaching licensure and special education endorsements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of education and curriculum for emotional/behavioral needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license with insurance and DMV record.
• Basic Life Support and First Aid within 90 days.
• Ability to adjust work schedule based on business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a team of Special Education Teachers and related services staff.
• Ensure adherence to Colorado Department of Education and licensing guidelines.
• Provide trauma-informed care and build strong patient-family relationships.
• Oversee IEP records, data tracking, and service delivery for students with disabilities.
• Coordinate transition planning and collaborate with school districts.
• Cover classroom duties when necessary and support staff development.
